That is why LRP developed a practical upgrade for owners of this rifle model:
Adjustable Buttpad for the Bergara B14 HMR
It allows precise positioning against the shoulder according to the shooter’s individual shooting position, contributing to proper rifle placement and improved recoil control.
Compared with the previous model, the new version features a larger, more ergonomic adjustment wheel and reduced weight 63grm. The redesigned mechanism makes adjusting the buttpad position easier, faster, and more precise.
The buttpad is manufactured using FDM 3D-printing technology high-strength engineering-grade polyamide reinforced with carbon fibres.
This is not a conventional hobby-grade 3D print made from standard material. PA-CF is an engineering composite intended for functional components requiring high rigidity, mechanical strength, dimensional stability, and low weight.
FDM technology was deliberately selected because it enables an optimised structure with additional strength in high-stress areas without adding unnecessary weight. The fine surface texture is a natural result of the manufacturing process.
The material is significantly lighter than aluminium, improving the rifle’s fit and positioning without compromising its balance.

The rifle’s original rubber recoil pad and factory spacers are retained.
